Job description
- Manage and oversee all aspects of projects from conception to completion, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Lead and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Engage with key stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress, gather feedback, and ensure that project goals are aligned with stakeholder expectations
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
- Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise
- Monitor project budget consumption, ensuring that expenditures are aligned with the approved budget
- Follow up with vendors on the payment process, ensuring that payments are made according to the terms specified in the contract
- Provide regular updates on budget status to management and propose adjustments as required to stay within financial constraints
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed, ensuring that risks are addressed promptly and effectively
- Oversee daily project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with the M&E Officer for effective monitoring and evaluation
- Measure project performance, and provide regular updates to senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Proven work experience in project management at least 5 years. preferably in the development or training sector
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello…etc)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Proven work experience in project management at least 5 years. preferably in the development or training sector
